Coach Haggerty began training horses and riders at the age of 16 and after 50 years, still enjoys helping students learn the right and safe way to ride. His assistant instructor, Shanna Jones, has been with Bayberry for numerous years and begins the lower level riders in the "Hunter" style of riding.

The Center currently has about 17 horses that are used for lessons and also compete in "Eventing". They range from pony size to large horse.

Lessons are held Mondays thru Saturdays and Sundays during the winter. After school lessons are at 4pm. Those above beginner level need to arrive early enough to groom and tack up their horse. Saturday lessons are held at 9, 10 and 11 o'clock..
